Esports One

Esports One is on a mission to unite the esports industry’s fragmented data to power more engaging, live experiences for fantasy players, fans, streamers, teams, and event broadcasters around the world. Esportspedia is Esports One platform where the esports community exchanges and seeks information on tournaments, teams, players and rankings. 8 games in 8 wikis. Esports One wants to take Esportspedia to the next level.

Esports One wanted to take Esportspedia to the next level. These areas were defined by Esports One:

  • Level of ambition
  • Scalable AWS infrastructure
  • Modern, appealing user interface
  • Mobile #1
  • Dynamic and interactive

To reach Esports One goals Wikibase prepared a first analysis that shaped the following low hanging fruit deliverables:

  • Long term requirements
  • Platform version 1 specification, including technical issues
  • Migration plan
  • Roadmap
  • Statement of work
  • Estimates

We delivered the work as promised, with a financial budget box.

In the second phase of our cooperation we implemented AuthO to smoothen players- and team switching between Esports One and Esportspedia.
